Since we are off from school on Monday for Labor Day, today at school, we learned about what Labor Day is! We learned about different workers in our community, and how we take a day off from school/work to thank them. We then colored a “Community Workers” coloring page, and also wrote/drew about what we want to be when we grow up! The future is so bright for these kiddos. :)

Today in Preschool, we used glue for the first time! We made some pineapple crafts to decorate our classroom with. We talked about how to use glue, by saying “Dot, dot, not a lot!” Everyone did an amazing job.
This week at school, we’ve been opening up a new center to play and work in every day! So far, we have Table Toys, Puzzles, Library, Art, and Writing open. Later throughout the week, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Science, and Sensory Table will open!
This week at school, we’ve been learning about our classroom and school rules! We read the books “No David” and “Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen.” We then discussed what we all have to do to make our classroom safe and happy, and made our own classroom rule books!
These Preschoolers did amazing on their first day of school! I love these kids. Looking forward to a great school year!
