Since it's officially Fall and apple-picking season, we made some apple art by stamping apples in paint! Each child's apple art turned out so unique.

This past week, we've been learning all about the circle shape. We decided to make some circle art using paper towel tubes and paint!
Yesterday we got to play our classroom instruments together for the first time! These preschoolers are rockin!
Current weather predictions are suggesting that Monday, September 25th will be another unusually warm day. Due to this, students are encouraged to dress for the weather by either wearing their Epiphany gym uniform (even if not a gym day) or Epiphany uniform gray shorts or skirt. Thank you!
This week in Preschool, our class fish finally arrived! To prepare for our fish, we talked about how we take care of fish, and we also named them! Each week, a different child will have the job of "Fish Tank Helper" and will feed the fish. We are so excited!! Feel free to stop by our class to take a peek at our new pets!
P.S. Here is a helpful website to use with your child to help them learn their letters and sounds. We do "Mr. Alphabet" on Starfall every day, as well as use it for our letter of the day! http://www.starfall.com/ Today we began our "letter of the day" starting with the letter "S." We read a book about the letter S, did a Starfall activity on our Smartboard for the letter S, practiced tracing the letter S, and then made our own letter S out of Play-Doh! Up next: the letter A! Next week, we are getting our very own class fish! We are so excited. To celebrate, we read the story "The Rainbow Fish" and then painted our own Rainbow Fish! Since our current favorite book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" is all about a coconut tree, we decided to taste test some real coconut! Each preschooler tried the coconut, and then voted on whether they liked it or not. We are going "coconuts" for coconuts!
