Today at school, we set our growing butterflies free! We set them free near the church so the butterflies would have a home near some flowers. Bye bye butterflies!
Our caterpillars have all officially turned into butterflies! We have had so much fun observing these changing butterflies and documenting their changes in our science journals. Tomorrow, we will be setting them free!
We have new class pets: 6 Caterpillars! So far, we have read books about the butterfly lifecycle and we’ve been observing/documenting in our science journals any changes in the caterpillars. In the upcoming weeks, we will continue to watch them change into a Chrysalis, and eventually into butterflies!
For Fly Up Friday, our Preschoolers going into Kindergarten next year visited Mrs. Sanchez where they read a book about Kindergarten! My Preschoolers that are returning to Preschool next year got to make some fun shaving cream art with Ms. Rosie!
We had 2nd graders visit our classroom to make tissue paper flowers! As part of our Countdown to Summer, we are focusing on a different letter of the alphabet each day! For A, we drew pictures of our favorite Animals. For B we blew bubbles. And for C, we painted with different water Color paint!
After giving our grass seeds and Lima beans lots of water and sun, we have grass and plants growing in our classroom! We were all so excited to come back to school after Easter Break to see how much our plants have grown!
