Today at school, we each dyed our own Easter eggs! We used shaving cream and food coloring to color the eggs. Happy Easter!!

Since Easter is right around the corner, today at school, we graphed jelly beans! Each Preschooler got a handful of jelly beans, and then they graphed them to see which color bean they had the most of. Yum!
This week is NAEYC’s Week of the Young Child! Today, we celebrated by having a “Tasty Tuesday Treat!” We taste tested Peeps! Yum!
This week at school, we are planting our own grass seeds to grow grass! We are also transplanting our Lima beans in Ziloc bags into dirt.
As part of our “Things that Grow” unit, we made our own bird feeders! We used yarn and cereal to make our own special bird feeders. We then hung them up outside ina tree!
Inside of our sensory table, we have Easter Grass and Easter eggs! The eggs have uppercase and lowercase letters on them, and it’s up to these Preschoolers to match them up!
As part of our “Things that Grow” unit, we read the book “The Ugly Vegetables.” This book taught us about how vegetables and plants grow. Then, we used vegetables and paint to stamp with vegetables!
This week, we began our new unit on Things that Grow! As part of this unit, we planted our own Lima beans at school! We only used a paper towel soaked in water, a ziploc bag, and a Lima bean. We placed them on the windows for them to get sunlight! We will be observing the Lima beans over the upcoming weeks at school, and documenting any change in our science journals!
As part of our unit on Shadows and Reflections, we used mirrors to create our own self-portraits! These preschoolers used mirrors to see their reflections and they drew what they saw onto paper.
