Coconut Science

Since we have been reading and focusing on "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" this week, we decided to experiment with a coconut, just like the ones from the coconut tree in the book! As preschool scientists, we made guesses on whether or not we thought the coconut would sink or float in water, recorded our guesses, and then tested it out! After experimenting, we came to the conclusion that coconuts float in water! ​

​After experimenting, the preschool scientists also got to taste some of the coconut water from inside of our coconut! Science is fun, and delicious!
