To celebrate Martin Luther King day, we watched some videos about him, as well as made our own "I have a dream" hearts for our bulletin board (come check them out in our hallway!) We also decided to do an EGGsperiment, to further our understanding about Martin Luther King's work. Using a brown egg and a white egg, we discussed how the outside of the eggs were different. We then decided to crack the eggs open, and we discovered that they were the same on the inside! We related this to MLK's work on how our skin colors may be different, but we are all the same on the inside.
